RIP, Mike.

I'm not breaking any news here when I say Michael Jackson has died. I'm also not telling you anything new when I say he was an icon of musical talent for many many years. Lastly, I'm not saying anything unheard of when I tell you like Elvis, Marilyn and those that have passed before thier time, he will be missed for many years to come.

RIP, Michael Jackson. 1958 ~ 2009

he was a bit on the freaky side toward the end but i must say that man can dance and who doesnt love to watch his videos. i love watching him dance. he is smooth. i mean really, seriously, who can dance like that...he was the man and then he started wearing masks and making his kids do the same and then he was gone and....my god that man can dance!!!

My point exactly. I don't care who you are..... I don't care your views on him. I don't care what you think you may know about hollywood bizarro gossip. Billy Jean comes on and you ARE singing it in that damn car. That's powerful stuff.

RIP MJ - He was a legend in music, even if he was a bit queer.

I understand that Michael Jackson will be remembered; he should be for his incredible contribution to music!
And though he may have been, as Compulsively put it, "a bit on the freaky side towards the end", we all loved the gossip
(Some can deny it all you want, it made great controversy that people would talk about for weeks later) and we loved to talk about him.

Haters, lovers, whatever... people talked, people listened, and people will remember. He made his own legacy...
What is legacy but the need to be remembered after you are gone?

That being said, other than this post, I don't like to talk about someone dying... I rather remember all the good things
[aka yes, Billy Jean... :) ]
